Important

  • We accept all applications, this application, oneform, and other agent’s application forms. Your application is important to us, not the format it comes in.

  • There is no smoking inside the property at any time. If you smoke you must smoke away from open doors and windows.

  • We do not ask or charge application or option fees.

  • You must complete details for all people over 18.

  • You should also consider adding anyone who is 16-18 to help them create their own tenancy history. This will help them with renting in the future.

Photo ID (either) Driver’s license, proof of age card or passport 50 points each
Australian citizen If born in Australia a copy of your birth certificate, otherwise a copy of your Australian citizenship papers 50 points each
Not a citizen? Copy of your immigration or Visa documents 50 points each
Cards Bank card, Medicare card, health insurance card 10 points each
Bills Bill or correspondence from a government department with your current address on it 10 points each

 

Proof of income

  • Working for someone else? Please provide 3 recent payslips or your work contract / offer of employment.

  • Self-employed? Please provide a bank statement for the past 3 months or a copy of last year’s tax return.

 

Submitting Your Application

  • You do not need to print this application form. You can complete it on your computer or your phone and simply email it back to us.

  • You can submit your application by email, fax 08 9297 1472 or you can Contact us and we collect from you.

 

Processing your application

  • Your application will be processed as quickly as possible, usually within 1-2 business days

  • We will call you as soon as we have processed your application and spoken with the owner.

  • You should make sure you have filled out and completed your application correctly, if not, it could delay processing your application while we contact you for further information.

  • Please notify your employer and personal references that we will be in contact. If we are unable to get in contact with your reference, this may delay your application.

 

Tenancy databases

Tenancy databases are used to check a tenant’s rental history. When you apply for a tenancy, ADK realty must notify you which databases we may use which are TICA (190 222 0346) and National Tenancy Database (1300 563 826). If we find you listed on a tenancy database we will advise you of details and whom to contact about the lodgement. For more information about tenancy databases refer to the Department of Commerce’s publications Tenancy databases or Renting out your property. The tenancy database provisions are consistent with the National Privacy Principles established by the Privacy Act 1988.

Privacy act 1988

As part of processing your application and managing your tenancy we collect personal information such as your name and contact details. The use of this information by ADK realty may include but is not limited to use on the internet. ADK realty may disclose this information to other parties including tradespersons, other agents and organisations such as tenancy databases, potential buyers, clients of ADK realty (both existing and potential), parties engaged to evaluate the property, owners, corporations, government and statutory bodies (including, but not limited to, the Magistrates Court), financial institutions and third parties as required by law. ADK realty will NOT disclose this information in to other real estate and business agents in considering selling the rent roll or other goodwill portions of ADK realty’s business. ADK realty will only disclose information in this way to other parties as required to perform ADK realty’s duties, for the purposes of managing the tenancy or as otherwise allowed under the Privacy Act 1988.
